The Genius Maker 80

I was afraid that Mitre didn’t match up well against KC, but I didn’t think it would be that bad. Great job by Tex keeping us in the game with 2 dingers and also Moseley who pitched 4.2 innings of shutout ball. We had the makings of a great comeback when we had 2 guys on with 2 outs in the 9th and Tex was up looking for his 3rd homer and a tie game, but he grounded out on a very close play. In watching it again, it was VERY close, but I thought he was safe and at worst it was a tie. That was a huge shame because if the ump gave us the call Arod would have been up down by 3 and the bases loaded looking for his 600h HR; talk about an exciting AB…but it was not to be.
